This converter works with a TikTok video file, not a link: save the video to your phone or computer first (TikTok’s Share › Save video, available when the creator allows downloads), then choose the saved MP4 here, trim up to 15 seconds and create your GIF. Only convert videos you made or have permission to use.

| File | Opens in the browser? | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Saved TikTok video | Opens (H.264 MP4) | Saved videos include a TikTok watermark added by TikTok. |
| TikTok link | Not supported | This tool converts files on your device and does not download from links. |
| Vertical 9:16 video | Works | The GIF keeps the vertical shape; height follows the width you pick. |
| Use | Setting | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Chat reactions | Smaller file: 320 px wide, 10 fps | A vertical 320 px GIF is about 570 px tall. |
| Social posts | Balanced: 480 px, 15 fps | Keep the selection to the key 3–6 seconds. |
| Detailed moves (dance, sport) | 480 px, 20–24 fps | Higher frame rate is smoother but grows the file. |
Size figures come from our 3 November 2026 FFmpeg tests; the full table is on the batch converter page. Limits for every source: up to 15 seconds, 300 frames and 960 px wide per GIF; source files up to 200 MB.
